It’s the moment we’ve all been waiting for – our lavender field is now in its peak blooming period!
This period usually lasts for a 2–3 weeks, so we would recommend visiting us in that time if you want to see the lavender at its best.
Alongside the lavender, there’s plenty to do while you’re here – we’re replete with delicious treats and drinks, and the farm shop is stocked with a delightful range of handmade gifts and goodies.
For true lavender fans, this is definitely the time to visit!
How is the lavender looking?
With the arrival of the full bloom, the intermedia varieties have come into flower and are looking spectacular. The early-flowering varieties are still looking great too, but we would expect these to begin fading over the next couple of weeks.

How are the wildflowers and sunflowers looking?
The wildflower patch is also in peak bloom now, having had a fairly late start this season. The bees and butterflies are loving the number of different flowers on offer in our wildflower areas! We’re also delighted that a number of wild bees have indeed taken up residence in our ‘rocket’ hive!

There’s still a couple of weeks to wait for sunflowers. We continue to expect these to be in flower in August, and will keep you posted.
