By With Halloween on the horizon, we at Hitchin Lavender have got more than just anGHOSTifolia and GROSSo on our minds. In fact, there’s a whole host of autumnal changes taking place on the farm, and we’re DEAD excited for you to see them before we wind down for winter. 👻💀
Alongside our usual range of sweet treats and street food, we’ll be open for pumpkin picking in October from Friday 13th to Sunday 15th, and then Wednesday 18th to Sunday 29th. Tickets are selling fast; book your entry tickets to the pumpkin patch now on our TicketSource page!
Pumpkins!
Since spring, we’ve been busy tending to a whole host of home-grown pumpkins, which are now ripe and ready for picking from our new patch! Perfect for any upcoming Halloween party or carving session, our gourds and squashes come in all shapes and sizes, and are available from just £1.50! We have over 10 varieties to choose from, including ‘goosebump’, ‘pink banana’, and ‘harlequin’ pumpkins!
For a fantastic family day out, come along and pick out your own ghost or ghoul to-be! Our pumpkins are available from the field itself, or from our completely redecorated ‘Pumpkin House’ (pictured above).

Aiming to capture that perfect family moment this spooky season? Look no further than our spectacular range of spine-chilling props and accessories! With a picturesque backdrop that’s a total SCREAM, we’ve super photo opportunities for any budding model, canine or otherwise…

Throughout the pumpkin picking season, we’ll be serving hot dogs and warming soup near the pumpkin patch. Alongside our outdoor activities, there’s plenty to keep you cozy and content inside! Our magnificent Lavender Barn will be open each day, serving coffees, cakes, and a host of other seasonal delights.
