Lavender Digest (13/7/18)

Hello Hitchin Lavender fans!

This is another instalment of our Lavender Digest, where we update you on all things Hitchin Lavender. Please make sure to share this with anyone thinking of coming – as we want to make sure that everyone knows what to expect when coming to us.

We are now in full flower!

What with all the hot weather that we’ve been having over the last few weeks, everything has been happening that bit quicker this season, so be sure to come on down within the next few weeks!

Let’s begin the Hitchin Lavender Digest for a fuller rundown of what’s been going on at the farm.

Next week (13/7/18-19/7/18)

How will the lavender be looking?

As you can see, we are now in peak bloom.

Our early lavender, which came into bloom mid/early June, is still looking wonderfully purple. The main body of the field has only just come into bloom, so is looking fresh and vibrant and is smelling wonderful. The early lavender is coming to the end of its flowering period and will be looking good for another week or so

If you wanted to get the full effect, now is definitely a great time to come.

And the sunflowers?

Two weeks for the sunflowers, we would suggest.

As ever, we cannot guarantee an exact date when it will be coming into bloom, so make sure to keep checking on our social media outlets Facebook, Instagram, Twitter or stay updated here with our Lavender Digest!
