If you fancy taking on a lockdown project which will help you to remember the run up to Christmas 2020 for all the right reasons, we can recommend getting your hands on one of our Christmas wreath kits.
The kits have been curated by locally based florist, Sarah Maylin and contain everything you need to create your own beautiful wreath. Sarah is a professionally trained florist, known for her original and exquisite designs. She specialises in wedding flowers but has recently diversified into a flower subscription service. She is a self-confessed flower addict, admitting that she’s “crazy” about all things flower related, whether it be designing her own arrangement or helping others to arrange their own display.

Each of Sarah’s kits will contain:
Clearly written and illustrated instructions
Wire frame
Fresh greenery and moss
Decorations including a selection of cinnamon sticks, orange slices, pine cones and velvet ribbon
A set of battery powered fairy lights
The only additional equipment you’ll need is a pair of scissors to cut the binding wire.
If you’re feeling particularly motivated to get crafty, you may also be interested in our range of dried flower options which could be used to fashion your own design or decoration; one which wouldn’t necessarily need to be confined to the festive season only. In case you need a little inspiration, here are a few photos of our selection of flowers and some arrangements we made earlier!

The wreath kits and dried flowers can be purchased online or in person in our shop which will be open again in our barn from Thursday 3rd December. Our opening hours will be Monday to Friday 10.00am – 3.00pm. You’ll also find us in our German style chalet stall in Hitchin’s Christmas market from 3rd December. We’ll be there every day from 10.00am – 5.00pm and until 7.00pm on a Thursday night. More on that next time!
